Warreport TWL vs Subrosa
The guys in pink vs the guys in pirate bandana, this ought to be a queer game indeed.  I hope Subrosa has the humour for this report cause here we go…!
Mashtuur TWL as US
Like the infamous Fab Five we heard about this bachelor place that needed some redecorating and off we went to the Mosque! All hands and feet a flutter with the anticipation of cleaning house, blow dryer expert Lan in the tank “Blow this!” with the unforgettable all around fixer Franz Klammer “I’m just happy to be here!” as SQL for the entire inf team.
All by his lonesome Liljamannen legged it to the south flag while master beautician Granis “I work best with APC missiles” took up overwatch with the APC at the prerequisite corner.
But lo and behold, the party was crashed by some ill-dressed louts from Subrosa. Oooh, that pink on camo, not sure about that. Their tank and apc were there to stay, evicted me in short order but our AT infs proved they could walk the walk aswell as talk the talk. SR infantry were loose in the building closeby however and proved hard to dislodge.
I brought up another machine, the last toy having been broken by the evil SR and with the help of the infs managed to lay some of my favourite party favours on the ground as we seized the flag. With TWL inf firmly in control of the building, debugged it (ooh, bad word when reporting a EA game I know) from SR and began to make it look like home.
Lilja got some support from our inf squad, leaving the much feared nail-trimmer Hitman “I’ll trim you down to the smoking bare fingernails” as sole inf along with myself. We managed to grab the south flag but the north became touch and go, the call rang out that we had infs in our main!
All hands home, SR infantry running wild through our lovingly cozy home and really enraging us. They managed to steal the APC away from us and in very short order they managed to down our tank aswell and we were left with the south flag only. Grim times! A quick decisive order was given, 3 AT’s to hold, the rest to attack their main! A construction site, ah, shiver me timbers, no cleenex and sand everywhere – the despair! We never managed to take their main but neither were they able to come near us with vehicles either.
SR 85 – 64 TWL
Mashtuur TWL as MEC
Baah, 21 tickets is nuuuthin! Or…? We raced forwards to the mosque again, down the ditch, dirty and gritty and smelling like sailor boys (ooh my) we headed up the other side with the entire team. Except our southbound Lilja who by his lonesome were going to irritate the south flag and head off any direct attempts to go for our main.
The APC took the lead, Granis poked his nose out a bit too far and quickly bought it in the form of a missile and a tank shot. Ouch. That wreck is gonna leave stains, oil is so hard to remove…a pitched battle ensued with SR in control of the flag for about two minutes, during which I had to pull the tank back twice to the ditch in order to make some shabby quick repairs while Klammers infantry, clothes adviser Dippen “Let me show you what I can do with this rifle grenade” and cosmetologist Nanna “AT missiles work wonders with beauty flaws, that is why I only use EA TM missiles” cleaned house.
Soon we had control over the Mosquee and I could repeat the party favour trick, weee. I just luuuv a good bang! Hitman stayed on while the APC and remaining infs headed southwards to cap the south flag. A tenacious grip evolved, a small ticket drain before SR manage to gather their strength. Ammo growing short for all of our AT infs, a marked supply shortage were dangerous and sure enough. The first attempt to retake the north flag cost SR their tank but left a hole in our little mine defense. The very next assault got them past and brutally savaged my mint condition vintage tank. Brutes. Anyone got a hankie. Gonna miss that tank.
At the same time they managed to cap the south flag, not less then a minute apart anyhow and we were left with main only. Jeep raids placed them in CBQ and we had a firefight just to get out of our own main. But we did it and got our vehicles down south where we capped the flag and begun a main attack. The infs went in, I followed to grey the flag but SR must’ve kept a inf in the flag zone somehow because that flag didn’t go down fast at all. At least three respawns later they had defeated our attack.
TWL 54 – 42 SR
Ho yeah, a very tight score! Extremely entertaining match so far, do you wanna read the rest? Eh, do you? Well stay tuned, commercial break time!

Back on the game!
DaQing TWL as US
You know, a good challenge always make you work harder and so, we just had to accept and try to redecorate a oil distribution centre and perhaps also a small Chinese village. We couldn’t resist!
Into the middle with jeeps, tank and heli overhead, hungry to succeed and show the world how nice things can be in the hands of TWL. We got the middle flag, our heli keeping the SR under control. Our tactics called for our commander and master painter Flamingo “I work best with a spray gun…but a artillery will do aswell” (anything as long as it's big) to keep the SR heli down.
Granis and Lilja were sent to disturb, threaten, take down and if possible steal the SR heli. A tall order but they were game and also very successful. So successful that I moved the tank up to support them and keep the heli down. Somehow SR got a jeep back to our main and were spawning like nuts, we had to call our infs home and suddenly I was all by my lonesome close to their main. Eh…as a cpl of SR AT’s and their Tank begun nosing my way I waited for the chopper to spawn and charged forwards. KAMIKAZE….ignoring the SR tank, rammed it in fact, I trained my gun on the chopper, screaming my heart out in a girlish voice (Flamingo can do impersonations, have him repeat it to yah) first shot didn’t take it down and the machine gun just kept it burning but the second one took it out just before I too was blown to bits.
Back home things were chaotic and we chased around like mad, repairing our UAV and SCAN, SR were damned good at taking them down. Fine pieces they were and never quite the same. Sniff. Eventually we uprooted them and raced back to the middle where another assault from SR were taking place. Our entire inf group were lost and my tank begun burning, bailed it and raced into the middle flag area. Shooting like I’d never held a shotgun and missing everything I still managed to hold the flag grey for another 10 seconds before dying, reinforcements arriving in time to take the flag more firmly.
TWL 129 – 18 SR
DaQing TWL as China
Hearts beating lite little colibris, everybody running around gaily trying to dressup in order for our win celebration and at the last moment remember we had another round to play…we were too giddy cause DaQing is NEVER good to TWL.
True enough, our jeeps to the middle were unsuccessful, our heli got shot down and we had SR jeepraiders straight for our main from the start. Doubt if they even stopped at the middle, heh. I had to turn around and chase after infs, not an easy task in a tank in those close quarters.
SR’s Heli had a really good hold on us, we tried putting out a smoke screen for our heli to take off under some cover but we timed it wrong (you know smoking is wrong for you) or SR were just plainly too good.
Eventually the infantry managed to steal our tank, gotta love that damned huge spawn area grmble…at roughly the same time every TWL managed to die, SR’s tank and a jeep got into the flag zone. In the nick of time I spawned C4 and took out both, died in the attempt, only to realize I was the last but one alive.
They had zeroed us. Damnation.
SR 151 – 0 TWL
It was a fun match, Subrosa had us in the end no doubt, very skilled bunch of players. Good luck in the future and thanks for reading!
